Ships and boats

From Southports waterfront, you can watch massive cargo ships glide up the Cape Fear River toward the bustling Port of Wilmington, their decks stacked high with containers from around the world. Out on the Intracoastal Waterway, graceful sailboats make their way north, their white sails catching the coastal breeze as they follow the inland route toward new harbors and adventures.
